Maine Wild Blueberry = blueberries + dark chocolate + wild dried blueberry Approximately 25% of all North American wild blueberries are produced in the northeastern state of Maine, where the wild blueberry is its official state fruit and blueberry pie made with Maine wild blueberries its official state dessert. Wild blueberries are the smaller species of the indigo-colored berries and are prized for their intense color and health benefits. The sweet fruitiness of blueberries is a delicious pairing with dark chocolate and a perfect ode to summer. Washington Red Raspberry = raspberries + dark chocolate + pure red raspberry powder Raspberries are grown throughout the northern regions of the United States in moist, temperate climates and are often found in the wild in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to the commonly known red raspberry, the species also spans a variety of other colors including black, purple and yellow, and ranks near the top of all fruits in antioxidant strength. The tart fruitiness of raspberries shine in a variety of culinary applications including preserves and liqueurs, and its pairing with dark chocolate is a perfect, classic blend. Don’t let them melt!
